Coastal Flood Zone Revisions (CFZR)

Coastal Flood Zone Revisions (CFZR) specializes in determining if a particular property has the correct flood zone designation. CFZR’s approach is to conduct a flood risk analysis at no initial cost to the client to determine if your flood zone designation is correct.

Historically we find that many flood zone designations are incorrect, especially in the V zone (high risk) locations along the eastern and western coasts of Florida. The objective of the efforts by Coastal Flood Zone Revisions (CFZR) shall be to attempt to gain approval from FEMA to remove the “V” Zone designation from beneath the structure. If the "V" Zone designation is removed, CFZR provides evidence of information to the client such that the client may initiate cancellation of National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) policies or obtain a refund based upon approval and removal from the "V" Zone. Typically this process results in a significant reduction in flood insurance premium.

CFZR manages and coordinates the processing of a LOMR request on your behalf through the FEMA regulatory structure.  We manage the scoping and procurement of data collection, analysis, surveys, and necessary storm modeling efforts, some of which may be from third party consultants and contractors, along with reports preparation and agency coordination.
